2005-2009

* On March of 2005, Sylvanna is hired as Official Minister of Music at the Santa Monica Seventh Day Adventist Church. This position includes playing the piano as a soloist, as accompanist and for the congregation, playing the organ, conducting a choir, conducting an orchestra on special occasions, arranging music for this orchestra, etc.
* Piano Recital with students at A.P.U. (Azusa Pacific University)

* In December of 2005, Sylvanna toured Argentina and Spain, presenting the basics of the “Antique Russian Technique”, and playing part of her finest repertoire.

 

2006

* June 4th, Piano Recital with students at A.P.U. (Azusa Pacific University) 

* On August 27th, Sylvanna  performed Beethoven Piano Concerto No5, “The Emperor” with the “Barrio Symphony Orchestra” conducted by Maestro Peter Quesada, at U.C.L.A. (University of California - Los Angeles) at the Schoenberg Concert Hall.  

It is remarkable to mention that Sylvanna received the invitation to play with the “Barrio Symphony Orchestra” on August 5th and she learned and memorized  the entire concerto in only twelve days. 

Maestro Eduardo Delgado, one of the finest pianist in the world alive, prepared Sylvanna for this performance.  

The concert was a success and she received new invitations to perform her well selected repertoire.

* At the beginning of December (until present time), Sylvanna is hired as a Minister of Music at St. Stephen Episcopal church, in the city of Whittier, Ca. {13}

 

2007

* On June 3rd, Sylvanna presented over forty students at the annual “Spring Piano Concert”.  This time it took place at Mount SAC, in the city of Walnut.

* Right after “Spring Piano Concert”, Sylvanna is invited to play her romantic repertoire in the beautiful city of  Buenos Aires.
* In the present time, Sylvanna is taking master classes with the great Eduardo Delgado, a renowned concert pianist, close friend of Martha Argerich.  Sylvanna has the honor of having him as her Master Teacher and personal friend.  

* On Christmas of this year, Sylvanna presented the Christmas musical “From Heaven’s Throne” at many churches and privately.  This musical includes a group of professional singers, soloists, drama, scenography, narration, and most important of all: A meaningful spiritual message to all that came to enjoy this musical.  A message that beautifully reminds us that the life of Jesus did not begin in the manger, but in fact, He existed before all time.

 

2008

* On April of this year, Sylvanna is invited to play her romantic repertoire in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

* On June 1st, Sylvanna presented her students in concert at the awaited “Spring Piano Concert”.  This time it took place at the Los Angeles Music Center.

 

2009

* On April of this year, Sylvanna was hired by Pastor Hugo Gambetta to be part of the Music Department of the “El Evangelio Eterno” SDA Church in Glendale, Ca, broadcasted on TV and internet every week.

* On June 7th, 2009, Sylvanna presented her students in concert one more time at the Los Angeles Music Center, Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.

* On September 26th, Sylvanna  performed “Classical Favorites” at St. Stephen’s Church, Whittier, Ca.

* On October 25th, Sylvanna played at the beautifull St. Martha’s Catholic Church, in the city of Valinda, California.

* On February of 2010, Sylvanna is hired as a Minister of Music at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, in the City of Whittier, Ca.

 

2010

* On June 27th of 2010, Sylvanna presented her students in concert at the Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

* On June of 2011, Sylvanna is planning on presenting her students at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

 

2013

* On April of 2013, Sylvanna is offered a job opportunity at "The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour", in Tampa, Florida. She decides to immediately move with her husband Eric Meade, and on April 4th 2013 Sylvanna is officially hired as "Minister of Music" at "The Lutheran Church of Our Savior"

HOBBIES

 

Sylvanna's favorite activity is to spend quality time with her beloved husband Eric Meade. They do everything together, from house chores to bike riding. They are members of the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group), being part of bike fests and rallies. Sylvanna also enjoys cooking and traveling.
